Guwahati (Assam), May 25 : With 147 new patients detected on Monday, the single biggest spike in a day for the state, the number of Covid-19 positive patients in Assam stands at 539 .
The state again registered 13 more Covid cases on Monday night taking the total to 539.
Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the new positive cases are from Kamrup Metro and Golaghat districts.7 of the of the latest infected patients are from Kamrup Metro and 6 are from the Golaghat district.
The number of cases in the state has increased to 470 and a total of 62 patients were released from various hospitals in the state after their complete recovery.
