Guwahati(Assam), June 12 : For a change the total recovered patients outnumbered the fresh cases on Thursday .
A total of 145 new Covid cases were detected on Thursday taking the state’s overall tally to 3,430.
In a good news, a total of 183 patients were released during the day from various hospital across the state after they tested negative twice .
With the discharge of 183 patients the total number of discharged patients satand at 1,432 and ,the number of active Covid positive cases stands at 1,989.
Assam Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted ,“Alert ~ 111 new #COVID19+ cases reported by 11 pm. Total cases 3430. Recovered 1432. Active cases 1989.Deaths 06,”
Ealier during the day the Minister tweeted ,“Discharge Alert. Delighted to share that 183 more patients have been discharged today from various civil, district & model hospitals in Assam. Discharged Patients – 1432. Active Patients – 1878,”
