3 more COVID-19 cases reported in Assam, figure mounts to 56

Guwahati (Assam), May 8 : 3 more Coronavirus cases were reported in the state today with the figure mounting to 56.

According to Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma all the three cases were co-passengers of the returnee from Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Rajasthan who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Silchar on Wednesday.

Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted at 3.45 pm today : “Alert ~ 3 more persons, who traveled in the bus from Rajasthan in which the Cachar dist #COVID19 + person travelled, have tested positive.
