Shillong(Meghalaya), Mar 25: In a significant boost to regional trade and investment, the 7th Act East Business Show has commenced at the State Convention Centre in Shillong, Meghalaya. The three-day event, inaugurated by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, aims to strengthen economic ties between North East India and BBIN & ASEAN nations.

Chief Minister Sangma emphasized Meghalaya’s growing role in regional and international trade, highlighting the state’s focus on infrastructure development, policy reforms, and business-friendly initiatives. “What is most important for us as the state government is to create an ecosystem that is favorable for businesses to grow and thrive,” he stated.
