Shillong (Meghalaya), Mar 17: In a significant move to bridge the gap between skill development and employment opportunities, the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) has launched Skillerate Connecting 2025. This groundbreaking initiative was inaugurated today at Kynshi Football Ground by Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, and Shakliar Warjri, Minister of Labour, Employment & Skill Development.
The two-day event, scheduled for March 17-18, aims to empower the youth by creating a robust platform for skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh highlighted the pivotal role of MSSDS in promoting skill development and employment opportunities in Meghalaya.
MSSDS has been working tirelessly to provide skill development training to the youth of Meghalaya, with a focus on employability and entrepreneurship. The organization has also collaborated with other agencies to provide training and employment opportunities to the youth.
With Skillerate Connecting 2025, MSSDS aims to take its efforts to the next level by providing a platform for the youth to connect with potential employers, entrepreneurs, and mentors.
