Shillong ( Meghalaya ) , Aug 7 : Senior Journalist and social worker S S Syiem passed away on Friday .
He was 67 .
S S Syiem started his carrier in a government department and subsequently shifted over to journalism .

He was the editor of U Nongsain Hima and U Peitgnor .
He was also a keen footballer and participated at various national level tournaments .
He was not keeping well for quite sometime.
