Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sep 6 : There has been a remarkable improvement in the Covid situation in the state with only 123 new cases reported in the last 24 hours .
For the first time after weeks , no fatalities were reported in the state on Monday .

According the data shared by the health department , out of the total 123 new cases detected on Monday , 93 were from East Khasi Hills .
South Garo Hills , North Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills did not report a single cases in the past 24 hours .
253 patients were also discharged from the hospital today after full recovery .
The death toll now stands at 1,329.
