Meghalaya Games 2022 to be held from May 2 to May 7

Shillong ( Meghalaya), April 22 : Meghalaya State Olympic Association will hold the Meghalaya Games 2022 from May 2 to May 7, at SAI Campus NEHU, here.

Speaking to media, General Secretary of MSOA Finely L Pariat said, the Meghalaya Games 2022 will be a mega sporting event and will include 5 more disciplines compared to the last such event held in 2014.

Already 2677 athletes have registered from different state associations, 296 coaches and managers, 358 technical volunteers and the budget for the Meghalaya Games is estimated to be 2.23 crores .

Pariat added that the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma is the Chief Patron for the Games.
