Shillong (Meghalaya),June 12 : A COVID-19 positive woman has delivered a baby at the North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) here on Friday.
State Health Minister AL Hek said as per Covid protocol the samples of the newborn baby will be taken for testing and the mother will again be re-tested after she completes the mandatory 14 days quarantine.

Meanwhile , Chief Minister Conrad Sangma tweeted , “3 more persons have recovered West Garo Hills(1) and East Khasi Hills District(2) after they tested negative twice.”
