Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 7 :The government in order issued today has allowed re -opening of all tourist spots within the state from October 16 next .
The order stated that all the tourist spots should ensure that all Covid protocols are maintained especially sanitizing , social distancing and use of face masks by all the visitors .

Earlier ,after 6 months of total closure due to Covid pandemic the Government had allowed the re-opening of Ward’s Lake, Lum Nehru Park & Elephant Falls from Sep 1 last to promote local tourism.
