Shillong (Meghalaya), June 19 : A court in Shillong granted 2 days of police custody to Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha, while Anand Kurmi, Akash Rajput, and Vishal Singh Chauhan were sent to 14-day judicial custody. This decision follows their arrest in connection with the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, Sonam’s husband, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya.
The investigation revealed that Sonam allegedly plotted the murder with her boyfriend, Raj Kushwaha, who hired the other three men to carry out the crime. The police have been interrogating the accused, gathering evidence, and reconstructing the crime scene.
