Shillong (Meghalaya), July 22 : The state reported a total 24 fresh cases of Covid on Wednesday taking the total numbers to 514.
However , the active cases stand at 433 after 77 patients were released after recovery . So far four patients have have died due to Covid 19 .

The daily update issued by the Director of Health Services (MI) Dr . Amar War this morning stated that among the 24 new cases 18 are from East Khasi Hills , 4 from Jaintia Hills and 2 from East Jaintia Hills .
Among the 18 cases in East Khasi Hills, 6 are BSF personnel, 2 from other armed forces and ten general public .
A total of 7 patients were discharged today after they fully recovered.
