Shillong ( Meghalaya) , Aug 8 : 16 fresh cases of Covid 19 were reported on Friday in the state which includes 3 doctors from NEIGRIHMS and a nurse from Civil Hospital Shillong .
With this the total number of cases have gone up to 1007 with 590 Active cases after 411 patients recovered .

The Director of Health Services Dr, A. War infomed that a 45 – year old patients died of Covid on Friday . He was a co -morbid .
The patient , Late Pankaj Bhushan was a type II diabetic patient with hypertension .
He passed away on Friday at 4 .15 pm due to end stage renal failure with Covid Pneumonia .
On Friday a total of 66 patients were discharged after full recovery .
