Shillong ( Meghalaya), Apr 16 : On Saturday ,April 15 2023 ,troops of 4 Bn BSF Meghalaya nabbed a Bangladeshi national with Indian currency amounting to 4 lakh while attempting to cross the international border illegally from India to Bangladesh.
The arrested person revealed his identity as Md. Iqbal Miah (45 yrs) resident of Upsahar, Dist- Sylhet.

The person was nabbed near Dawki Boating point while trying to cross over to Bangladesh.
The source of the cash is yet to be known.
The seized Indian currency and arrested person has been handed over to Dawki police station for further Investigation and legal proceedings.
