Shillong(Meghalaya) , March 26: The 1st Shillong International Film Festival’s second day was a game-changer for aspiring filmmakers. Arnab Gayan’s masterclass on cinematography had students from top institutions like NEHU, MIT, and EFLU hanging on to every word, as he shared insider tips on visual storytelling and production techniques.
The interactive session was electric, with students grilling Gayan on everything from narrative crafting to crew coordination. “Reading expands imagination and perspective,” Gayan advised, urging students to keep learning beyond the classroom.
The festival’s film screenings, featuring works like “Our Home” and “Kni”, showcased diverse storytelling styles, leaving the audience inspired. As the young filmmakers soaked up the wisdom, it was clear: Shillong’s film scene is buzzing!
