Tura (Meghalaya), Jan 28: A shocking poster near Law College, Araimile, has sparked outrage and a swift police response, with Minister Marcuise N Marak condemning the act as “intimidation and threat against our land, our people, and our peaceful coexistence”.
The West Garo Hills District Police have registered a case, removed the poster for forensic analysis, and are working to identify those responsible. Citizens are urged to stay calm and report suspicious activity via:

“Meghalaya has always stood for harmony, mutual respect, and unity among all communities, irrespective of religion or caste, and we remain firmly committed to these values,” says Marak, urging unity and faith in the government and law.
