Shillong ( Meghalaya), Jan 2 : Riiohlang Dhar has been selected for the FIFA Refereeing International list for 2026, marking another milestone in her illustrious career. The All-India Football Federation’s Referee Department informed the Meghalaya Football Association of her selection on Dec 31.
Dhar, a FIFA-level assistant referee, has officiated at numerous international events, including the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic, where she became only the second Indian match official to do so. She also served as an official at the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup in Indonesia the same year.
Her exceptional skills have earned her national recognition, including the Female Assistant Referee of the Year award by the AIFF for 2024-25. Dhar was also among the 40 individuals honoured for their contribution to Meghalaya football at an MFA awards function.
