Khanapara (Meghalaya), Nov 11: Today marked a significant milestone for PA Sangma International Medical College (PIMC) as it launched the orientation program for its inaugural MBBS batch. The 14-day program, held at the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya’s (USTM) Central Auditorium, heralds a new era in medical education for the region.
Prof. Dr. Seyed Ehtesham Hasnain, Padma Shri awardee and National Science Chair at IIT New Delhi, graced the occasion, calling the beginning of PIMC “inspiring”. PIMC inaugural MBBS batch orientation program was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM); Prof. GD Sharma, Vice Chancellor of USTM; Dr. BK Das, Principal of PIMC; Dr. Jogesh Sharma, Director of Medical Education and Research, PIMC; and Dr. (Prof) Bhabani Prasad Chak.
