Kokrajhar (Assam), Dec 19: In a significant development, the Assam Legislative Assembly’s Budget Session is set to be held in Kokrajhar’s Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly (BTCLA) House in February 2025. This marks a historic first, as the Budget Session will be held outside the Assam Legislative Assembly House for the first time.

Preparations are in full swing to ensure the event’s success, with the BTCLA House complex being decorated with attractive and healthy beautification along the BTC Secretariat.
An all-party delegation from the Assam Legislative Assembly, led by Speaker Biswajit Daimary, recently visited the BTCLA House and BTC Secretariat to oversee the preparations.
