Shillong ( Meghalaya ) , May 17 : The state cabinet which met today approved renaming the iconic Lady Hydari Park to Ka Phan Nonglait Park.
The government also decided to enhance cash grants to recipients from gallantry and distinguished award winners of Army, Navy and Air Force personnel from the state of Meghalaya.
The cabinet also approved Meghalaya State Wakf Board Rules 2023 along with Meghalaya State Policy on Construction & Demolition Wastes 2021.
In the Cabinet today discussions were also held on the Roster System where a detailed presentation was given in the meeting. The Cabinet was satisfied with the details & the clarifications made & we have unanimously agreed to move forward.
A meeting will be held with the MDA components tomorrow & an all party meeting will be held on Friday.
