Shillong ( Meghalaya) , Aug 25 : Seven more Covid patients succumbed to their infections and 354 fresh cases were recorded in the last 24 hours .
While 2 deaths each was reported from East Khasi Hills , Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills , 1 cases was reported from South West Khasi Hills .
All the patients who succumbed to their infections were not vaccinated .

The death toll has gone up to 2,815.
According to the data shared by the health department , 354 new cases were detected on Wednesday which includes 241 from East Khasi Hills .
352 patients were also discharged on Wednesday after recovery .
The active cases now stand at 2,815 .
