Meghalaya : 5 more Covid fatalities , new cases at 365

Shillong ( Meghalaya ) , July 13 : Five more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 918 .

While four deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , one death was registered in West Jaintia Hills .

According to the data released by the health department , 365 new cases were detected in the state on Tuesday  with East Khasi Hills on the top with 80 cases followed by West Garo Hills with 61 cases , Ri Bhoi with 56 cases and West Jaintia Hills with 53 cases .

A total of 506 patients were discharged today after full recovery .

The active cases as of now stand at 3,964 .
