Imphal(Manipur), June 3: Manipur reported another case of Black Fungus case today . A 37 years old female from Bishnupur district was confirmed with the disease at Raj Medicity. There have been three cases of the disease detected in the state so far.
Meanwhile, Manipur continues to report a decline in the number of new cases. The state reported 621 new cases and 10 deaths on Tuesday, according to the Health Department. The total infection in the state has now reached 52,899.
Ten deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The death toll has now reached 849.
As many as 783 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate now stands at 81.64 per cent.
Active cases have surged to 8,863. Out of these, 4,734 are in home isolation at present.
