Shillong ( Meghalaya), June 3 : 9 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the state in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 562 .
A government press release stated that 552 fresh cases were reported on Thursday out of which 246 cases were from East Khasi Hills .

Among the deaths 4 were from East Khasi 2 each from West Garo Hills and East Jaintia Hills and 1 from South West Garo Hills .
The active cases as of now stand at 6352 .
