Guwahati(Assam), April 29 : 26 more deaths due to Covid -19 was registered in the state on Thursday while a total of 3079 persons tested positive in the state .
Among new cases , 1029 were from Kamrup ( Metro) .
The overall positivity percentage is 4.58 .
Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a series of tweets said , “In what shall give further boost to our #VaccinationDrive, pleased to share that Assam has received 1.5 lakh more doses of #CovishieldVaccine from Govt of India today.This takes our total availability of doses to 770030. “COVID-19 vaccine and coverage status of Assam as on 29.04.21 .Total doses administered till date 23,34,513 ,1st dose 18,34,673, 2nd dose 4,99,840,Total Vaccinated today 92,117.Total vaccines available in stock 6,65,520.”
