Shillong ( Meghalaya), Mar 30 : The Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh, Guwahati hosted the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day at Asian Confluence, here on Tuesday .
Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister, P. Tynsong graced the programme as Chief Guest and Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, M. S. Rao and President, Asian Confluence, Shillong, Dr B. B. Dutta as the Guest of Honour.

During the programme, the Chief Guest along with other dignitaries marked the celebration by cutting the ceremonial cake and also felicitated the Liberation war awardees.
