Agartala (Tripura), April 3 : Two men from Tripura tested positive of COVID -19 at Bikaner in Rajasthan today.
Addressing a press confrerence , Health Secretary Dr, Debashish Basu said two men from Tripura’s Sipahijala district, who visited Nizamuddin Markaz along with nine others from the state last month, have been tested positive. They are presently in Rajasthan.
Dr Basu said that they have received news that a 11-member team from Boxanagar in Sipahijala district visited Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi and did not return to Tripura and went to Bikaner in Rajasthan.
” As of now we have verbal intimation from Rajasthan Government and the duo are under quarantine at Bikaner”, Dr, Basu said .
“ The health department had collected 161 samples and all are negative and 3204 passengers have completed 14 days of observation period”, he added .
Meanwhile, all the borders have been sealed which includes the inter – state border and international border .
