Kohima(Nagaland) , May 25 : Nagaland reported three confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 with two persons in Dimapur and one in Kohima today .
All the 3 cases were detected from among the returnees from Chennai.
The tests were conducted at the BLS-3 laboratory in Naga Hospital Authority Kohima.
Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Menukhol John today confirmed the 3 cases during a press briefing held here today.
According to him, two of them are of symptomatic and one is asymptomatic and active contact tracing and surveillance are on to contain the spread of the virus.
Minister of Health and Family Welfare ,S. Pangnyu Phom in a tweet said that the condition of the patients are stable and are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Dimapur and Chedema in Kohima .
