Guwahati (Assam), Feb 26: The entire region of Northeast India has been recording rain and thundershower activities for last many days.
In fact, during the last 24 hours, a gradual increase in the ongoing rainfall activities has been witnessed as fairly widespread rain and thundershower occurred in the entire northeastern states of the country.
For instance, Dhubri in Assam recorded heavy rain of 17.1 mm. Mazbat and North Lakhimpur each in Assam also observed fairly widespread rain of 10.8 mm.
Similarly in Sikkim, Gyalsingh recorded 13 mm of rain. In Meghalaya, Shillong recorded 9.1 mm of rain and Cherrapunjee observed 6.3 mm of rain during the last 24 hours.
Also, Kohima in Nagaland witnessed 4.4 mm of rainfall.(Skymet)
