The party also filed a legal case against Facebook India country head Ajit Mohan, YouTube India country head Satya Raghavan.

One of the defamatory remarks by Mohilary was in connection with the February 13 ABSU special convention held at Tamulpur Baksa, BTAD where Pramod Boro belng emotionally charged, wept after being relieved from the post of ABSU president.
However, Hagrama Mohilary on March 5, during Bathou Sabha deliberately critised this emotional incident with the objectionable comments that “Shri Pramod Boro wept on the said occasion as because his wife ran away due to family dispute”.
This comment against Pramod Boro is totally false, fabricated, frivolous and politically motivated, he said .
Further and at subsequent times, BPF supporters and IT cell team have ciraulated through facebook and youtube channels defamatory and concocted remarks against Promod Boro even with the caption as “Breaking News” as that “Pramod Boro Tested Positive for COVID-19 and is presently admitted in the BJP hospital.
The comment was made after Promod Boro meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on August 1 in order to defame him and the UPPL as party.
In order to malign Pramod Boro, team of BPF supporters morphed and caricatured his images too.
Boro also made the host social networking sites responsible as It allowed disseminating defamatory remarks against him and the UPPL . Facebook is also responsible for making its sites as anti-social medla channels without any accountability.
There are many users who uses fake name wth fake account details including Onkang Basumatary, Mithu Bhal, Narzary Swmkhwr, and Bargayary Zandip use such objectionable comments without disclosures of address details in their accounts.
He demanded through check on fake accounts on Facebook and YouTube channels.
He has urged the concerned departments and authorities to check over the fake accounts on social media through which unwanted derogatory remarks are reaching out on the social media.
He said that UPPL is gaining mass support in the region and accordingly BPF party has been trying to create bad image of the UPPL by derogatory remarks on social media facebook, youtybe channels.
“The UPPL will not be mute spectator. Each and every Irresponsible /derogatory remark against UPPL members will be acted upon as per the given law”,Hasda added.
