Guwahati (Assam ) , May 23 : A total of 53 fresh cases of COVID-19 cases were reported in the state today taking the total number of cases in the state to 319.
State Health Minister , Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said Of the 53 new cases, 44 are from Sarusajai quarantine centre here , 7 from Dima Hasao district and 2 from Cachar district .
The Minister tweeted at 1.40 pm , “📌Alert ~ Fifty three new #COVID19 + cases confirmed – 44 from Sarusajai Quarantine Centre, 7 from Dima Hasao district and 2 from Cachar.↗️Total cases 319,↗️Recovered 54,↗️Active cases 258,↗️Deaths 04,↗️Migrated 03.”
