Kokrajhar (Assam) ,Feb 1: Six more new members have been inducted as Executive Members in Bodoland Territorial Council today at a programme held at BTC Legislative Assembly Auditorium.
The newly inducted executive members are Dr Nilut Swargiyary(Rowta),Daobaisa Boro(Bhergaon),Rakesh Brahma(Mushalpur) from UPPL and Dharma Narayan Das(Nagrijuli),Sanjit Tanti(Nonwi Serfang) and Reoreoa Narzihary(Jomduar) from BJP.
BTC Principal Secretary Siddharth Singh administered the oath to the new executive members of the BTC.
Pramod Boro led UPPL-BJP-GSP combine coalition government was formed on Dec 15 last after securing majority in the 40 member house of the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly.
BTC CEM Pramod Boro said a two member enquiry committee of BTC has been formed to enquire the financial irregularities and anomalies of scheme’s amounting Rs 2300 crores in BTC during the BPF ruled BTC administration.
BTC executive members Ranjit Basumatary and Gautam Das are the new members in the enquiry committee.
The BTC Executive Council has gone to 15 with six more new members taking the oath of office and secrecy today.
Boro has expressed his hope that the centre’s budget would be fully utilized for the welfare in BTR areas.
BTC deputy CEM Gabinda Chandra Basumatary,BTCLA speaker Katiram Boro was also present during the swearing -in ceremony .
