Kokrajhar (Assam), June 1 : Working journalists from BTR region were felicitated here recently in recognition of their relentless services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the region .
The programme was organised by the Seemanta Chetana Manch, Kokrajhar district unit to to encourage the media personnel’s. Members from the manch felicitated the media personnel of Kokrajhar Press Club on Saturday evening at the club premises in recognition of rendering services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
National Seemanta Chetana Samiti member Pratipan,state secretary Debashis Datta,president of Kokrajhar Press Club attended the felicitation programme and lauded the journalists for their relentless services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
All the members of Kokrajhar Press Club and media fraternities were accorded warm welcome and felicitated with ‘Phulam Gamosha’ and were handed over masks and hand sanitizing bottles in the event
National member of Seemanta Chetana Samiti Pratipan said that the manch wanted to extend gratitude and sincere thanks to the media ,police,medical and safai Karmacharies for relentlessly rendering services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
Meanwhile , Kokrajhar Press Club has extended their gratitude to the manch members for taking the decision to felicitate the media persons which would create much needed encouragement to them .
