Guwahati (Assam ), June 2 : The state reported a total number of 124 cases on Monday taking the total count in the state to 1485.
According to the state health minister , Himanta Biswa Sharma in the last group of results 22 news cases were detected on Monday night which consisted 10 cases from Kamrup Rural , 6 from Morigaon , 3 air travelers , 2 from Goalpara and 1 yet be ascertained .
In the highest single spike a total of the day 73 new cases were detected which consisted of 30 air travelers from Kuwait , 12 from Cachar , 10 from Kamrup , 9 Karimganj , 7 from Kokrajhar , 2 from Hailakandi and 1 each from Barpeta , Nagaon and Jorhat .
Health Minister In his latest tweet at 11.55 pm said , ” 📌Alert ~ 22 new cases of #COVID19+
10 Kamrup Rural, 6 Morigaon, 3 air traveller, 2 Goalpara, 1 to ascertain.”

Meanwhile , 7 more patients were been discharged from SMCH today after they tested negative for #COVID19 twice and total number of discharged patients stand at 284.
