Guwahati (Assam), May 28 : The state reported a total of 73 fresh Covid cases till Thursday evening taking the total number of cases to 856.

State health minister , Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed the cases and said as of now the state has 762 active cases after 87 patients were released from various hospital after they fully recovered .
Dr. Sarma tweeted on Thursday evening ,”📌Alert ~ 25 new cases of #COVID19+ 13 Kamrup Metro, 4 Cachar, 3 Dhemaji, 3 Barpeta, 2 Kokrajhar.”
