Guwahati (Assam) , April 19 : Manish Tiberwal from posh Spanish Gardens apartment here who tested positive for COVID -19 was discharged today after his 4 successive tests came out as negative.
Manish Tiberwal will be now on home quarantine.
Similary , Md Shahrukh, Mafizuddin, Zamila Khatun & Md Asraf Ali were also discharged from MMCH here , after their 4 successive tests were negative. They all will proceed for 14-day home quarantine.
As of now , the number of cured Covid -19 (17) exceeds active (16) cases.
Meanwhile ,he district administration has extended Spanish Garden in Zoo Road, Guwahati as containment zone for an additional period of 14 days with effect from today .
According to the order, all the restrictions which were earlier imposed in Spanish Garden will remain in force during the extension period of containment zone.
“Any violation of this order will attract action under the provisions of “The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020” “The Disaster Management Act-2005”, The Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and other relevant laws of the nation,” the order stated.
