Guwahati ( Assam), May 19 : Another 89 Covid -19 deaths were reported in the state in the last 24 hours .
In a tweet , Chief minister Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma said that a total of 6143 new cases were reported in the state in the last 24 hours out of which 913 cases were reported from Kamrup (Metro).

These cases were detected after conducting 102040 tests .
The overall positivity percentage was 6.02%.
