Guwahati ( Assam) , April 16 : A total of 573 fresh cases of Covid was detected in Assam on Friday which includes 245 from Kamrup Metro .
A total of 32421 tests were carried out today and the overall positivity percentage was 1.77 % .
Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , ” I wish to reassure citizens of Assam that as of now we have adequate stock of Remdesivir Injections. In fact few days ago, we helped Govts of Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand with some supply. I am continuously monitoring supply of oxygen and Remdesivir so that we face no shortage. As of now we have the following stocks : Covishield ~ 3.25 lakh dose .Covaxin ~ 2 lakh dose. Another batch of about one lakh Covaxin dose will arrive in a day or two. I request everyone eligible to please go in for your vaccination.”
