Imphal (Manipur), April 16 : The Manipur Government has banned entry to the state without production of negative COVID-19 test reports taken within 72 hours from arrival in Manipur from April 18. The test results can be of RT-PCR/ TrueNat/CB-NAAT.
All Army/CAPF units have also been instructed to arrange for COVID-19 testing of their personnel entering Manipur.
On the other hand, night curfew from 8 pm to 4 am daily has been imposed on Friday. The Home Department has issued an order in this regard.
In the past twenty-four hours, 29 persons from the general population and 2 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID19 positive cases in the state, according to the COVID-19 Common Control Room, Government of Manipur.
There was no report of death in the past 24 hours. The cumulative number of deaths is 376 as per records.
The number of active cases is 165 (General Population – 145 and Central Security Personnel-20). The recovery rate is 98.17 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state is 29,610 (General Population 26,148 and Central Security Personnel 3,438).
1401 people were vaccinated on Friday.
So far 102470 individuals have been inoculated in the state.
