Guwahati (Assam), July 4 : A total of 365 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Friday taking the total number of cases to 9799.
Among them 134 persons were from Guwahati where there is an outbreak of community transmission in the past one week .
Today a total of 10,000 COVID19 tests were carried out and the total count reached 438,882.
Earlier in the day 221 more patients were discharged today from various civil, district & model hospitals in the state after they tested negative twice .
Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 365 new #COVID19+ cases detected today.Out of total cases today, 134 were reported from Guwahati City. Take proper precautions & care to stay safe.”
