Guwahati (Assam), July 22 : 6 more critically ill Covid patients succumbed to their infections on Tuesday taking the death toll to 64 .
According to official sources , out of the 6 patients ,2 are from Kamrup Metro, 2 from from Kamrup Rural and 1 each from Darrang and Dibrugarh .
The patients have been identified as Rekha Dutta (63) from Darrang; Mona Das (51) from Dibrugarh; Sister Florence (74) from Kamrup Metro; Mukiv Ali (65) from Kamrup Rural; Ramesh Ch Dekha (67) from Kamrup Rural and Bulin Begum (44) from Kamrup Metro.
The Death Control Board has confirmed all the 6 deaths due to Covid – 19 .
The health minister tweeted , “I’m extremely disheartened to share that Rekha Dutta (63, Darrang), Mona Das (51, Dibrugarh), Sister Florence (74, Kamrup M), Mukiv Ali (65, Kamrup Rural), Ramesh Ch Dekha (67, Kamrup Rural) & Bulin Begum (44, Kamrup M) succumbed to #COVID19. Condolences to their families.”
