4.0 Earthquake Hits Shillong, Tremors In Assam, Parts Of Northeast

Shillong (Meghalaya), May 29: Tremors were felt in Shillong and parts of the northeast as a 4.0 magnitude earthquake hit Shillong this evening at 6.44 pm.

The epicenter of the quake was located in Myanmar.

There are no immediate reports about any loss of life or damage to property.

The jolt was also felt in Assam and parts of the northeast.
