Guwahati (Assam), July 9 : Two more critically sick Covid patients died at the ICU of Guwahati Medical today morning .
With this the total number of deaths due to Covid -19 in the past 48 hours has gone up to 8 .

The two positive patients who died this morning are Prosnna Kumar Haloi , aged 70 of Beltola in Guwahati and Ramsingh Hanse ,aged 56 of Karbi Anglong and were undergoing treatment in GMCH Covid ICU.
Both the patients succumbed to their critical infections this morning and were on invasive ventilation.
Asaam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has condoled the demise of both the patients .
