Khanapara(Meghalaya), June 2 : The Department of Commerce, University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has organized a workshop titled “GST Registration and e-Returns: Empowering Quality Skills” on Wednesday at the university campus.
The workshop aimed at empowering students with skills concerning the registration of GST and filing of different e-returns.
Jayprakash Gupta, a practicing Chartered Accountant from Hari Singh & Associates, Guwahati was the resource person for the workshop. He demonstrated how to make a registration for GST and elaborated on the different types of e-return to be filed by the Assessee.
Subash Limbu, Head of Department of Commerce delivered the welcome address and Hari Mall Thakuri delivered the vote of thanks in the Workshop.
The workshop was attended by 85 students and all the faculty members of the Department.
