Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 16: The state government has announced that it will give the former Meghalaya chief minister Salseng C Marak a state funeral who passed away due to old age-related ailments on Friday.
He was 82 years and passed away at the Tura Civil Hospital where he was undergoing treatment.

The state funeral would be held at Resubelpara , North Garo Hills on Saturday, Aug 17.
The venue of the state funeral would at the Mini Stadium, Resubelpara and the same would commence from 12 noon.
