Shillong(Meghalaya), April 15: Smt. Santa Mary Shylla, Chairperson of the Committee on Empowerment of Women, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, paid a condolence visit to Langtor Village in Eastern West Khasi Hills District today. The visit was made to express solidarity with the family of Darisha Lyngdoh and her two-month-old infant, who tragically lost their lives in March this year.
During the visit, Smt. Shylla and other Committee members observed a two-minute silence at the incident site as a mark of respect for the victims. The delegation later met with police officials at Mairang Police Station to review the investigation’s progress.
