No snowfall ! Shillong experiences first ever heavy frost today

Shillong (Meghalaya ), Dec 19 : The city today experienced the first frost this season on this morning. Meadows, open spaces, roof tops, cars parked in the open were all covered with a thick frost cover.

The largest natural golf course in this part of the country was fully covered with frost .

There was heavy coldness due to heavier frosting in the morning at upper Shillong.

So far, no Snow fall has ever been seen yet, but the degree of coldness appeared to have increased in comparison with the coldness during this season compared to last year .
