Shillong (Meghalaya), July 1: The Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS), under the Chief Minister’s Skills Mission, has launched a four-day state-level workshop for Local Training Providers (LTPs) at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) here.
The workshop, scheduled from July 1 to 4, aims to empower LTPs by building their capacities, deepening systemic understanding, and fostering integration across key thematic areas. This initiative seeks to strengthen the skilling ecosystem in Meghalaya, aligning with the state’s vision for FY 2025-26.
Jagdish Chelani, IAS, Executive Director of MSSDS, chaired the workshop and outlined its vision. He commended the MSSDS team and expressed optimism that the program would enable LTPs to improve their skills and contribute to the state’s skill development initiatives.
