Shillong (Meghalaya), June 23 : 2 more returnees from UP to South WesT Garo Hills have tested Covid positive in South West Garo Hiils of the state taking the total number of cases in the state to 46 .
The active cases as of now stand at 8 .
The state of Meghalaya has earned the unique distinction of being the least infected state in the country .
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma tweeted on Monday night , “Two persons who came from UP to South West Garo Hills have tested positive. They are under quarantine.
