Imphal(Manipur), July 6 : There seems to be no sight of relief for Manipur as the state reported 838 new Covid cases out of 5,069 tests, with a positivity rate of 17.03 per cent.
The State Level Covid-19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported 14 more Covid-19 deaths, taking the death toll to 1,218.
Imphal East and Imphal West districts continue to report the majority of new cases with 120 and 298 cases respectively on Tuesday.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state has reached 73,581 and the number of active cases is 6,231. The recovery rate stands at 89.87 per cent.
The vaccination drive by the Manipur Government is going on aggressively. 30,476 doses were administered on Monday. A total of 7,69,107 doses have been administered till date, of which 6,81,679 first dose and 87,428 second dose.
